Csárdás is a composition by Italian composer Vittorio Monti originally composed for violin, mandolin or piano. This folkloric piece is based on a Hungarian csárdás. Oh what’s a Csárdás ? It’s a traditional Hungarian folk dance characterized by a tempo variation: it starts out slowly and ends in a very fast tempo!
